“Maskharey Bus ka Safer” was a very funfilled bus trip within Karachi, with the members of a Facebook Group Maskharey (as in Comedians), in collaboration with Socials Say.
Tour started early morning of a Sunday of winters, 8:30am to be exact.
We are technically not a bus tour company but since we organize Events, and we have a sound experience of going on such tours for photowalks and such, and we happen to be members of the Group from the very beginning, we contributed what we can.
We sponsored a healthy wala breakfast at Dera, Boat Basin. Although members of the Group are very self-sufficient in the entertaining department, we took the responsibility of spicing things up a notch or two.
We invited Mr. “Professor”, a known name for the fans of the Netflix show, Money Heist. Actually, it was his look-alike, Mr. Israr Khan who has been gaining fame as Professor. Very talented and friendly guy. He’s been a great sport throughout the trip. You can find his vlogs on YouTube.
We had till 3pm and we visited quite a few places in that time.
Starting from Boat Basin, for the breakfast.
We made a quick stop at our favorite location “Urban Forest” where the party did some dancing and music.
We head straight to Mohatta Palace Museum where after visiting the gallery of cultural dresses, the group members took their sweet time making fun pictures and videos for, well TikTok and what not.
They went full-on crazy in the lawn until nearly all of them dropped on the grass. And then they did some more of it all over again before taking the dance party into a small space of coaster.
We will arrange a larger bus for them next time.
We had to skip a couple of locations from the list since we spent extra time at Mohatta Palace.
The trip ended with Thali Chat and Limca at Dhoraji from Dilpasand Chat. The singing continued in the family hall that we completely occupied.
After tea and drinks, it was time to complete the circle by going to where it started 7 hours ago, to LuckyOne Mall.
In between all of the crazy fun, we did talk about possible future collaborations for rather serious social subjects.
Of course, this didn’t end on the handshakes we did before heading our homes. It is going on in the Group, sharing memories through videos everyone made on the trip.
