We had a nice experience at Poulet. It is a new eatery open in heart of DHA Phase VI. I thought Poulet (Fried Chicken) was not officially 100% operational but turned out, yes they are and that, there will be no grand opening for which I was waiting for…
Back to the experience, good management, quick service from friendly staff, really nice ambiance, simple and comfortable seating. I did like the color and they did pay extra attention on the ceiling.
The artistic work on the wall was the center of my attention and sadly, while I was there I did not get the name of the artist but thumbs up for the chef who got it done.
I believe it was the friendly atmosphere that we make some new good friends there.
Come to the food, and first, the management gave us a tour to their kitchen, let us watch and record our orders being prepared. This part is always fun to experience.
Second, I am no food expert, I cannot name the items we got on our tables, but luckily we had not one but 6 expert Food Enthusiasts/Reviewers on the table, Yasir Billoo, Sarah Rehman (ig: Rickshaw Raani), Hammad Shah, Wahaj, Dr. Sana and Saba. They shared with chef and the management what they felt was missing or can be improved. But overall it was a big positive from everyone.
Everyone appreciated the serving size of the meal dropped on our tables and the prices.
In the coming days, there will be exciting new additions at Poulet, both in their menu items and in the look. We will try to visit them again and talk to the chefs as well.
